Reviews
This tour was more than we expected. Worth every penny!! Luna was such a fantastic tour guide. VIP treatment with the cable cars which gave fastrack through - it was worth it just for this. I loved exploring Tai O!
Our tour guide, Miss Sun, provided a fantastic and insightful tour. We were lucky enough to see dolphins! Highly recommended.
Amazing ride on cable car, nice tour on Lantau. Well organized and nice guide
Ivan is a really wonderful tour guide! He is very kind, helpful, informative, and funny. You get to skip the line for the cable car which is totally worth it as the queue can be long. You do spend a long time in Tai O, which I think I maybe would've preferred a longer talk at the monastery over time in Tai O but this doesn't affect my feelings overall. We did see pink dolphins on our boat ride which was totally unexpected!! Ivan told us that he hasn't seen them at all for the month of Aug because of how bad the weather has been. The odds of seeing them are actually pretty low, so I went in not expecting to see any at all and was just enjoying the boat ride views.
tour guide Becky very good. we r happy to follow your tour
Becky our tour guide is nice and helpful. At noon we meet at information center pf Nongping Village. Then, we go by bus to Tai O village, she gave us the map on the bus and take the boat but unlucky we don't see the dolphin. Afterthat we walk around the village , there are food store, dessert, snack and drink. Around 2:30pm we back from Tai O to Nong Ping and guide tour will walk you to Big Buddha and finish at 3:45.
Really wonderful experience, Becky, our tour guide is so enthusiastic and patient, I do love her positive energy. Tai O Village is truly a must-see destination when you visit Hong Kong: beautiful scenes, tranquil sea village life and relaxing people.
We went on a Monday and the queue was long at the cable car. As we have booked a local tour at 12pm so the staff allowed us to use the priority line to get onto the cable car. Each cable car can take on max 8 pax. The ride was about 25 minutes. The local tour guide, Luna speaks good English I would say. Together with 2 other tourists from UK, the 5 of us took a private coach and started off to Tai O fishing village. Started off with a boat ride to see pink dolphins but we have no luck that day. After that, we went to one of the houses then F&E at the market. We tried the sugar doughnuts and mango mochi (recommended by the guide) and they were nice! The tour ended with a walk to see the big buddha and monetary.
we had a crystal cable car and it was definitely worth the extra money. Magnificent views. the fishing village was interesting and Ivan our guide was very happy, cheerful and full of great information. we particularly enjoyed seeing the monestry as well as the Buddha. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour
First timer to Hong Kong and this is the perfect tour for Lantau. Communication with tour company was very helpful! The tour itself was amazing led by friendly and enthusiastic staff. Would highly recommend!
